  • anon_session_id (functional): anonymous ID to keep the site working (e.g. maintain state, deter abuse). Up to 12 months.

  • sessionid (functional): only present if a Django session is created (some features may trigger this). Session or limited duration.

  • cookieConsent: a small flag in localStorage to remember banner dismissal.

Analytics

We use PostHog in cookieless mode, which means our analytics do not set cookies or use local storage on your device for tracking.

Third-party embeds

Our pages may embed content from third-party providers (e.g., YouTube, SoundCloud, Bandcamp). These providers may set their own cookies or use their own analytics when their players load or when you interact with them. We do not control these technologies.
